Gambling
Gambling is a kind of game that involves greed and boundless desire to win big with a small amount of money.
STL has commenced to concern the gambling policy due to the the government's attempt of legalisation of football betting in early 2000. Our research since then has shown the relationship between gambling and Chinese culture, and that in Hong Kong, betting on football, horse racing, and the Mark Six Lottery are not the only games that induce greed and leverage for large gains. Therefore, we have been actively encouraging the education sector to teach youngsters the proper attitude towards money. At the same time, in the face of a profusion of financial products that readily confuse and lure the public, we introduce the concept "financial planning is not greed". It is not summarily against people from using investment tools, but informs Christians of the bottom line they should set when dealing with money matters.
